ABISKO NET HOSTEL & HUSKIES, Abisko

Winterday Hostel has 6-bed dorm rooms and 2-bed private rooms. Each floor has a shared kitchen and a toilet with a sink. Showers and a sauna are in a separate building near the hostel. Every room offers mountain views. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Bed linen and towels are available for rent at 110 SEK and 40 SEK, respectively. Guests can bring their own bed linen or sleeping bags and towels. All beds are bunk beds. The double and twin rooms feature a seating area and heating. Bathrooms offer a shower and a hairdryer. A suitable 2-bed room for guests with dogs is available.

Abisko Net Hostel & Huskies does not have an onsite restaurant or serve breakfast. Shared kitchens with a fridge, oven, and food storage are available for guest use. A supermarket is within walking distance for groceries. A hot beverage is available with magnificent views on Ice Fishing, Snowmobile Sled Tour and Snowmobile Adventure Abisko.

Guests can book dogsledding and Northern Lights tours. Winter clothes, cross-country skis, and snowshoes are included for guests booking a dogsledding tour. Snowshoes and cross-country skis are available for rent at 150 SEK. Guests can rent warm clothes (ski overall, boots, gloves) for 150 SEK. A sauna is available every evening from 20:00 to 21:00. You have a big chance to encounter the majestic moose. You can reach the Aurora Sky Station by taking the lift. There is a lit cross-country ski track close to the hostel and you can find downhill skiing lifts in Björkliden (10km) and Riksgränsen (25km). The team searches for the northern lights in and around Abisko.

Abisko Net Hostel & Huskies is near Kungsleden Trail (3 km), Tornetrask (0.5 km), Karsavagge (4 km), Abisko National Park (2 km), Naturum Abisko (2 km), Abisko guide (0.5 km) and Activities in Abisko (0.5 km). The hostel is around 250m from the train station and 500m from the bus stop Abisko Östra. Guests arriving by flight can take the airport shuttle to Abisko. Activities include a guided tour of the ICEHOTEL, visiting Sami & Reindeer in Jukkasjärvi, Morning hike in Abisko national park and Hiking with Huskies.

Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The hostel provides access to winter clothes and winter fun equipment (cross-country skis and snowshoes) for guests booking a dogsledding tour. Dogs are allowed in one suitable 2-bed room, but are not permitted in the shared kitchen.
